1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Hopopop mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Rayan Kheloufi, entrepreneur individuel (R-Square IT), SIRET 92757275000010, France ("we", "us", or "our").
2. Description of the Service
Hopopop is a mobile application available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) that allows users to block selected apps and requires the completion of a mental challenge (mental arithmetic, trivia, etc.) before unlocking them. The goal is to reduce mindless phone usage and train cognitive skills.
3. Subscription and billing
- Free trial: 7 days, full access, no credit card required.
- Monthly plan: €4.99 / month
- Annual plan: €29.99 / year
Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your App Store/Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's account settings at any time.
Refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies and are not handled by us directly.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the app
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with the app's blocking mechanisms
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission
- Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or any harmful content
5. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, logos, code, and design elements within Hopopop are the exclusive property of Rayan Kheloufi / R-Square IT, unless otherwise indicated. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property without prior written consent.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. App blocking relies on native iOS Screen Time and Android Accessibility APIs — we cannot guarantee behavior across all device configurations and OS versions.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, R-Square IT's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amounts you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
8. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with French law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or this website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
